WAEC 2025 Registration Guide

  • Obtain the registration form and PIN: Visit an authorized bank or WAEC office to purchase the registration form and obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN). The registration fee is ₦27,500, which includes a ₦500 bank commission. 
  • Enroll your biometric data: Use the Biometric Data Capture software to scan your fingerprints and capture personal details. If you don’t have access to a fingerprint scanner, visit a registration center equipped with the necessary facilities. 
  • Complete bio-data information: Provide accurate personal information, including your full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, state of origin, and National Identification Number (NIN). Ensure your name does not exceed 40 characters, including spaces.
  • Capture passport photograph: Take a recent passport-sized photograph using a webcam with a minimum specification of 2.0 megapixels. This photograph will appear on your photocard and certificate.
  • Select examination subjects and center: Choose a minimum of seven and a maximum of nine subjects, including compulsory subjects like English Language and Mathematics. Select your preferred examination state and town; the exact center is going to be assigned automatically. Note that you cannot change your examination town after submission. 
  • Submit registration and print exam slip: After completing the registration, submit the form, print your exam slip and get your WAEC ID card, which contains your examination number, serial number, and other essential details. Keep this document safe, as it is required for admission into the examination hall. 

NECO 2025 Registration Guide

The National Examinations Council (NECO) administers the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for secondary school students in Nigeria. To register for the NECO SSCE, follow these steps:

  • Ensures your eligibility for the exam: Ensure you are a final-year student (SSS 3) in a recognized secondary school, as the NECO SSCE Internal is intended for school-based candidates only. 
  • Obtain registration form: Visit an accredited secondary school to obtain the NECO registration form. The registration fee is ₦22,250.00

  • Submit your registration and collect examination details: After processing, obtain your examination number and photocard, which contain essential information about your exam schedule and center.
