Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), established in 2009, is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the small city of Ikot Akpaden, with a branch campus in Obio Akpa.
Recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, AKSU offers a range of bachelor’s degrees across various fields of study. The university is known for its selective admission policy and provides a host of academic and non-academic facilities and services to its students.
With a motto of “Knowledge and Technology for Development,” AKSU aims to address practical issues of development in Nigeria and boasts a large student body within the enrollment range of 10,000-14,999.
