  • Application fee: ₦10,000
  • Acceptance fee: ₦20,000
  • School fees: ₦120,000

How to Apply for UNN Pre-Degree

Check if you’re eligible: Check if you meet the program’s eligibility criteria, which typically includes: Having a minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings and being a candidate seeking admission into the university through a non-UTME route.

Purchase of application form: Pay the application fee of ₦20,000 at any of the designated banks or online payment platforms and obtain the application form from the university’s website or at the pre-degree program office.

Fill and submit application form: Fill the application form online or manually, providing all required information and uploading necessary documents, such as: O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), birth certificate or age declaration, and local government identification letter. Submit the completed application form online or in person at the pre-degree program office.

Write the entrance examination: Participate in the pre-degree entrance examination, which typically holds at the university campus. The examination is usually a computer-based test (CBT) and covers subjects relevant to your chosen course.

Complete the admission process and register: If you pass the entrance examination, you  are offered admission into the pre-degree program. Pay the acceptance fee and complete the registration process, which includes: payment of school fees, registration with the university and pre-degree program, and collection of admission letter and other relevant documents

How to Apply for UNN JUPEB

  • Confirm your eligibility: Check if you meet the program’s eligibility criteria, which typically includes: Having a minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  • Create an account: Go to the UNN JUPEB website. Click on “Create Account” and fill in your details to create a profile. You  receive an email with your login credentials
  • Generate invoice: Log in to your account and click on “Generate Invoice”. Select the program you are applying for (JUPEB). Choose your payment method (online or bank payment). Generate and print your invoice
  • Pay application fee: Pay the application fee of ₦20,000 at any of the designated banks or online payment platforms. If paying online, use your debit card or other accepted payment methods
  • Fill and submit application form: Log in to your account and click on “Fill Application Form”. Fill in your personal and academic details. Upload required documents, such as: O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), birth certificate or age declaration, local government identification letter, and submit your application form online.
  • Upload O’Level results: Log in to your account and click on “Upload O’Level Results”. Enter your O’Level result details and upload your result slip or certificate
  • Print application slip: Log in to your account and click on “Print Application Slip”. Print your application slip, which contains your application number and other details
  • Write entrance examination: Participate in the JUPEB entrance examination, which typically holds at the university campus. The examination is usually a computer-based test (CBT) and covers subjects relevant to the course you choose.
  • If  you pass the entrance examination, the university offers you admission into the JUPEB program. Pay the acceptance fee and complete the registration process
