The following are the eligibility criteria for the University of Calabar:
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years for admission into UNICAL.
- Attain a minimum UTME score of 150 and above.
- Choose UNICAL as your first choice of institution during your UTME registration. If you haven’t, you can apply for a change of institution.
- Possess at least five credits in your O’Level results, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Get at least 5 credits in your O’Level results in not more than two sittings.
- Present your original credentials, including your UTME result slip, during the screening exercise.
How to Apply for UNICAL 2024/2025 Post-UTME Exam
The following are steps to apply for UNICAL Post-UTME exam:
- Go to the UNICAL Post UTME website to access the Post-UTME registration portal.
- Select the “Post-UTME Registration” option to start the application process.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and other required details to generate a payment invoice.
- Pay the Post-UTME application fee of N2,000 using your ATM card or other payment options.
- Fill out the application form and upload your O’Level results and other required documents.
- Submit your application and print out the acknowledgement slip, which contains your exam schedule.
Modality of UNICAL 2024 Post-UTME Exam
Type: The UNICAL Post UTME exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT)
Date: The UNICAL 2024 Post-UTME application runs from Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 to Tuesday August 13th, 2024.
Structure: The structure of the UNICAL Post UTME exam includes 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each with four options: A, B, C, and D.
You are going to face 60 questions from your chosen field of study, such as Science, Arts, or Social Sciences, along with 20 questions on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and 20 questions on English Language and Literature.
The exam has three sections: Section A features 60 subject-specific questions, Section B covers 20 questions on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and Section C contains 20 questions on English Language and Literature. You are going to have 1 hour (60 minutes) to complete the exam.
