UI Cut-Off Mark 2025/2026 for All Courses [UPDATED]

UI uses 200 as the minimum UTME score required for admission. If you want to study Medicine and Surgery, aim for at least 280. Law requires 270, Pharmacy 265, and Nursing 260. Engineering courses range from 250 to 260.

UI 2025/2026 Admission Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for admission into UI for the 2025/2026 session:

• Score at least 200 in your UTME: This is the minimum score you need to be eligible. Anything below this disqualifies you immediately.
• Select UI as your first choice institution during JAMB registration: UI does not process admission for anyone who lists the school as a second choice.
• Upload your complete O’level results on JAMB CAPS: Ensure that your WAEC or NECO result shows at least five relevant credits, and make sure it’s correctly uploaded to the JAMB portal.
• Meet or exceed the cut-off mark for your chosen course: UI uses a ranking system. If your score falls below the departmental mark, you lose the chance to gain admission.
• Complete the UI Post-UTME screening form online: Head to https://admissions.ui.edu.ng when the portal opens. Fill in all necessary details, including UTME and O’level grades.

UI Post-UTME 2025/2026

UI does not conduct a written Post-UTME exam. Instead, you will participate in an online screening process. You will submit your UTME score, O’level results, and personal details. 

UI calculates your aggregate using a fixed formula that weighs both UTME and O’level performance. The screening portal typically opens in August and closes in September.

• Pay your acceptance fee through the UI portal: Visit https://admissions.ui.edu.ng and follow the payment instructions. Complete this step on time to secure your space.

UI School Fees for 2025/2026 Admission

Your school fees depend on your course. Those studying Medicine, Dentistry, and Engineering pay around ₦180,000 to ₦250,000. For courses under Arts, Social Sciences, and Education, fees range from ₦120,000 to ₦150,000. Management courses cost about ₦130,000 to ₦180,000.
