However, some programs like Medicine, Law, and Pharmacy have a higher cut-off mark of 200, while others like Education and Social Sciences have a cut-off mark of 180

KASU Courses and Cut-Off MArk

Kaduna State University (KASU) offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs across different faculties, including Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Medicine, and more.

The university has a cut-off mark of 140 for the 2024/2025 academic session, which applies to all programs.

It’s important to note that meeting the cut-off mark is not the only requirement for admission, as KASU also considers other factors like your O’Level results, Post-UTME scores, and availability of spaces in the course you choose

  • The total fee is N115,750, which includes tuition, acceptance fee, departmental, and faculty fees.

For returning students:

  • The fee is N34,000 for the session.

 

What to DO if You Didn't Meet KASU Cut-Off Mark

Here are 4 things to do if you didn’t meet the KASU cut-off mark:

1. Consider other universities: If you didn’t meet KASU’s cut-off mark, explore other universities that offer your desired course and have a lower cut-off mark. You can also consider state universities or private universities that may have a more flexible admission policy.

2. Change your course: If you really want to attend KASU, consider changing your course to one with a lower cut-off mark. You can talk to us to explore alternative courses that align with your interests and strengths.

3. Take a gap year: If you’re not ready to give up on KASU, consider taking a gap year to improve your grades and retake the UTME or Post-UTME exams. Use this time to prepare better, gain more experience, and increase your chances of admission.

4. Consider other options (IJMB, JUPEB, Pre-Degree, or Part-Time Programs): KASU offers IJMB, pre-degree, and part-time programmes that require more flexible admission requirements. In fact, you do not need to write the UTME exam to qualify for KASU’s pre-degree or IJMB programme.

What to Know ABout KASU Admission

  1. KASU .releases admission list in batches
  2. You can check your status on the JAMB admission status checking portal or on KASU portal.
  3. To check your status, log in to the JAMB portal, select your exam year, enter your registration number and check your status.
  4. If KASU offers you admission, you need to accept the offer on JAMB CAPS, print your admission letter and apply for a change of course if necessary.

FAQs on KASU 2024 UTME Cut-Off Mark

The cut-off mark for Medicine and Surgery for the 2024/2025 admission at KASU is 220.

The cut-off mark for nursing at KASU is 200.

To study Accounting at KASU, the cut-off mark is 160.

Medical laboratory Science a bit competitive. The minimum UTME score is 200, but have 210 in order to enhance your chances of getting admitted.
