How GSU Calculates Your Aggregate Score

Gombe State University uses a weighted average system where your UTME score takes 50% of the aggregate score while your post-UTME covers the remaining 50%.

To know what percentage your UTME score is, multiple your UTME score 100 and divide it by 400.

For example, if your JAMB score is 250, your JAMB percentage is (250/400) x 100 = 62.5%

Your post-UTME score is the second component of the aggregate score.

GSU uses your post-UTME score as a percentage by dividing your score by the total post-UTME score (usually 100 or 200) and multiplying by 100.

If your JAMB percentage is 62.5% and your post-UTME percentage is 60%, your weighted average becomes (0.5 x 62.5) + (0.5 x 60) = 31.25 + 30 = 61.25
