• FUTO must be your first-choice institution: FUTO must be the institution you have chosen as your first option when applying for JAMB.

• Obtain a minimum score of 160 in the UTME examination: The minimum score you must obtain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible for admission to study the course you choose.

• Have a minimum of five (5) credits in O’Level results: from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics. You must have a minimum of five credits in your O’Level results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics.

• Ensure your O’level results are obtained in not more than two (2) sittings: You must have obtained your O’Level results in not more than two sittings.

• Meet the age requirement of at least 16 years old for admission into FUTO: You must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for admission into FUTO.

How to Apply for FUTO 2024/2025 Post-UTME Exam

Here’s a detailed explanation of how to apply for FUTO Post UTME Screening 2024/2025:

• Visit the official FUTO admission portal: Go to the official FUTO website at (https://portal.futo.edu.ng/), Click on the “Admissions” tab at the top of the page. Select “Undergraduate Admissions” from the drop-down menu, Click on “Post UTME Screening” to access the registration portal

• Click on the 2024 Post UTME registration link: On the Post UTME Screening page, click on the “Register” button, then select “2024 Post UTME Registration” from the options.

• Provide the necessary information and establish a personal profile: Fill in your personal details, including your name, email address, phone number, and password. Create a personal profile, including your bio-data and academic information. Make sure to provide accurate information, as this will be used for your admission process

• Generate a payment invoice: After creating your profile, you are going to be required to generate a payment invoice. Click on the “Generate Invoice” button to create a payment slip. Take note of the payment details, including the amount and payment reference number

• Choose from the available payment options to complete the payment process: You can choose to pay online using your debit card or generate a payment slip to pay at a bank. If you choose to pay online, follow the prompts to complete the payment process. If you choose to pay at a bank, take the payment slip to any of the designated banks and make the payment

• Finish the registration process and print out your FUTO Post UTME registration slip : After making the payment, return to the registration portal and click on “Continue Registration”. Fill in the remaining sections of the registration form, including your academic information and O’Level results. Upload your passport photograph and other required documents. Review your application and submit it. Print out your registration slip, which is going to contain your registration number and other details.

Modality of FUTO 2024 Post-UTME Exam

Structure: The FUTO 2024 Post-UTME Exam Structure consists of a 1-hour computer-based test (CBT) with 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into five subjects: English Language (10 questions), Mathematics (15 questions), Physics (10 questions), Chemistry (10 questions), and Biology or Agricultural Science (5 questions). 

Each correct answer carries 2 marks, while each incorrect answer attracts -1 mark (minus one mark), and unanswered questions carry 0 marks, with a total score of 100 marks and a cut-off mark that varies by department (usually around 40-50%).
