Admission Process

To gain admission to the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi State, you need to follow these steps: First, have a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in your SSCE or NECO. 

Next, apply for admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and select the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare as your first choice institution. 

Sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score a minimum of 200 to be eligible for admission. After that, you  need to upload your O’level results and other required documents on the JAMB portal. 

Finally, you can now  apply for FUTIA post-UTME screening exercise, and if you are successful, the institution offers you admission.

FUSHA Remedial & Pre-Degree Programme

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUSHA) Remedial Programme is a pre-degree programme designed to prepare you for admission into the university’s undergraduate programmes. 

The programme is aimed at providing a supportive learning environment for you if you do not meet the minimum admission requirements for direct entry into the university. 

The programme covers a range of subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, and General Knowledge.

The FUSHA pre-degree programme has its objectives: to provide a platform for you to improve your academic performance and meet the minimum admission requirements for undergraduate programmes. 

The FUSHA  pre-degree programme equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in life, and to prepare students for the challenges of university education.

This programme typically lasts for one academic session, which is divided into two semesters, providing a supportive learning environment for students to achieve their academic goals.

How To Apply For FUSHA Remedial & Pre-Degree Programme:

• Apply and fill out the application form on the university’s website (https://fuhsa.edu.ng/remedial-programme )or admission portal.
• Meet the minimum admission requirements, including attempted UTME and minimum of 5 credits in SSCE or NECO .
• Sign up and pass the FUSHA Remedial Programme entrance examination.
• Upload and submit supporting documents, including O’Level results and UTME score printout.
• Pass and complete the remedial programme with a minimum grade point average (GPA).
• Accept and confirm your admission offer into undergraduate programmes.
• Begin your undergraduate studies in the next academic session.
