How UNIJOS Calculates Your Aggregate Score
The University of Jos (UNIJOS) calculates your aggregate score by combining the JAMB UTME score and the Post-UTME screening score.
The JAMB UTME score carries a weight of 50% while the Post-UTME screening score carries a weight of 50%.
It converts your JAMB UTME score to a percentage by dividing the score by 400 (the maximum JAMB score) and multiplying by 100.
For example, a JAMB score of 250 would be converted to a percentage of 62.5% (250/400 x 100).
It changes your Post-UTME score also to a percentage. The two percentages add to get your total aggregate score.
For example, if you have a JAMB score of 250 (62.5%) and a Post-UTME score of 70%, your total aggregate score becomes 132.5% (62.5 + 70).
The aggregate score is then a factor to determine your admission status, with higher scores increasing the chances of admission.
