How UAT Calculates Your Aggregate Score

UAT calculates your aggregate score by combining your JAMB score, Post-UTME score, and O’level results.
Your JAMB score accounts for 50% of your aggregate score, while your Post-UTME score accounts for 30%.

Your O’level results are also converted to points, with A1-A6 grades equivalent to 6-1 points respectively.
The maximum points for O’level results is 30 points, which accounts for 20% of your aggregate score. The aggregate score is then calculated by adding up the points from all three components, with a maximum score of 100%.

This score determines your admission status, with higher scores increasing your chances of being admitted into your chosen program.

next step if you didn't meet UAT cut-off mark

  1. Consider other universities: Look into other universities that offer your desired course and have a lower cut-off mark.
  2. Change your course: If you really want to attend UAT, consider changing your course to one with a lower cut-off mark.
  3. Wait for supplementary admission list: UAT may release a supplementary admission list for candidates who didn’t meet the initial cut-off mark. Keep an eye on the university’s website for updates.
  4. Consider a foundation programme: UAT offers pre-degree and IJMB/JUPEB. Both the IJAMB and JUPEB allows you to get admitted into 200 level without writing the UTME exam.
