How FUTB Calculates Your Aggregate Score

As a prospective student, FUTB calculates your aggregate score by combining your JAMB score and Post-UTME score.

First, it converts your JAMB score to a percentage by dividing it by 400 and multiplying by 100.

Then, your Post-UTME score also converts to a percentage.

Next, the two percentages are weighted, with your JAMB score carrying a weight of 50% and your Post-UTME score carrying a weight of 50%.

Finally, the weighted scores add together to give your final aggregate score, which determines your admission status.

For example, if you score 250 in JAMB and 60% in Post-UTME, your aggregate score is 55% (50% x 62.5% + 50% x 60%).

  2. Change your course: If you really want to attend FUTB, consider changing your course to one with a lower cut-off mark.
  3. Take a gap year: Use the extra year to prepare and retake JAMB and post-UTME exams to improve your scores.
  4. Explore other options: Consider polytechnics, colleges of education, or vocational training programs that may have different admission requirements.
