How FUNAAB Calculates Your Aggregate Score
As a prospective student, you are likely be wondering how FUNAAB calculates your aggregate score.
Well, here’s how it works: your JAMB score is first converted to a percentage by dividing the score by 400 and multiplying by 100.
FUNNAB also converts your Post-UTME score is also to a percentage.
Then, it weighs the two percentages, with your JAMB score carrying a weight of 50% and your Post-UTME score carrying a weight of 50%.
Finally, it adds the weighted scores together to give your final aggregate score.
For example, if you score 250 in JAMB and 60% in Post-UTME, your JAMB score becomes 62.5% (250/400 x 100), and your Post-UTME score is 60%.
The scores become 31.25% (50% x 62.5%) for JAMB and 30% (50% x 60%) for Post-UTME, giving you a final aggregate score of 61.25%.
