How DELSU Calculates Your Aggregate Score
Delta State University (DELSU) calculates your aggregate score for admission using a combination of your JAMB score and your post-UTME score.
It divides Your JAMB score by 8 to get a percentage, while your post-UTME score is divided by 2 to get a percentage.
For example, a JAMB score of 250 is 31.25% (250/8), and a post-UTME score of 70 becomes 35% (70/2).
Also, DELSU grades your O’Level on a specific scale:
- A1 = 10 points
- B2 = 9 points
- B3 = 8 points
- C4 = 7 points
- C5 = 6 points
- C6 = 5 points
It then divides the total points by 5 to get a percentage.
Next is the addition of the percentages you get from JAMB, post-UTME, and O’Level to get your aggregate score.
For example, you have a total point of 6 (30/5) in your O’Lvel, your aggregate score becomes 72.25% (31.25 + 35 + 6).
