How BOSU Calculates Your Aggregate Score

Borno State University (BOSU) calculates your aggregate score by combining your UTME score, Post-UTME score, and O’level results.

Your UTME score accounts for 50% of your aggregate score, while your Post-UTME score accounts for 30%.

Your O’level results also converts to points, with A1-A6 grades equivalent to 6-1 points respectively.

The maximum points for O’level results is 30 points, which accounts for 20% of your aggregate score.

The aggregate score is then calculated by adding up the points from all three components, with a maximum score of 100%.

For example, if you score 250 in UTME, 60 in Post-UTME, and have 24 points in O’level, your aggregate score would be (250/400 x 50%) + (60/100 x 30%) + (24/30 x 20%) = 62.5 + 18 + 4.8 = 85.3%.

This score determines your admission status.
