• Select ABU as your first choice: Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) must be your preferred institution when applying for admission.
• Meet the JAMB score requirement: You must have achieved a minimum score of 180 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
• Hold a minimum of five O’Level credits: You must possess at least five credits in your O’Level results like your WAEC and NECO acing important subjects like English and Mathematics in no more than two sittings.

• Understand the direct entry requirements: If you’re applying through Direct Entry, you must possess a  Credit, or Merit in NCE or IJMB with a minimum of 6 points, a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit, or a Distinction or Upper Credit in your Ordinary National Diploma (OND).

• Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old by the date of registration.
• Participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise: Registration and participation in the Post-UTME screening exercise are mandatory for admission consideration.

How to Apply for ABU 2024/2025 Post-UTME Exam

Here are the steps to apply for ABU 2024/2025 Post-UTME Exam in details, First:

Modality of ABU 2024 Post-UTME Exam

Type: ABU Post UTME screening test is a Computer-based test (CBT).

Date: ABU Post UTME 2023/2024 registration is going to start on June 24th, 2024. The closing date for ABU Post UTME online registration and screening is July 24th, 2024. ABU Post UTME screening examination for the 2023/2024 academic session will commence on August 15th, 2024.

Structure: The ABU Post UTME screening exercise is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that lasts for 60 minutes, consisting of 50 questions covering different subjects: English Language (10 questions), Mathematics (10 questions), and three (3) Relevant Subjects (30 questions).
