How AFIT Calculates Your Aggregate Score

AFIT calculates your aggregate score by combining your UTME score, O-level results, and Post-UTME score.

Your UTME score accounts for 50% of the aggregate, while your O-level results (five relevant subjects) account for 30%, and your Post-UTME score accounts for 20%.

Your O-level results are graded as follows:

  • A1-A6 (6 marks)
  • B1-B3 (4 marks)
  • C4-C6 (3 marks), and
  • D7-E8 (2 marks)

The aggregate score is then calculated by adding up the points from each component, giving you a total score out of 100%.

So, it’s important to perform well in all three areas to increase your chances of admission!
