How LAUTECH Calculates Your Aggregate Score
LAUTECH calculates your aggregate score by combining your JAMB score and your post-UTME score.
The university uses a 50:50 ratio, where 50% of your aggregate score comes from your JAMB score and 50% comes from your post-UTME score.
To calculate your aggregate score, the university takes your JAMB score, divides it by 8, and then adds your post-UTME score, which is out of 30.
The resulting total is then divided by 2 to arrive at your final aggregate score, which is out of 50.
For example, if you scored 250 in JAMB and 25 in post-UTME, your aggregate score would be (250/8 = 31.25) + 25 = 56.25, then divided by 2 to get 28.13.
