Sule Lamido University Pre-Degree School Fees

The admission acceptance fee is N2,000.00. Registration fees vary depending on the program: N70,000 – N90,000 for Science-based programs and N60,000 – N80,000 for Arts-based programs. 

Additionally, there’s an optional hostel fee of N10,000.00. If you’re interested in entrepreneurship, there’s an additional fee of N2,000.00.

How To Apply For Sule Lamido University Pre-Degree

To apply for the Sule Lamido University (SLU) Pre-Degree program, follow these steps:

  • Visit the SLU website: Go to the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa website. Click on the “Admission” section. Select the “IJMB/Pre-Degree” option.
  • Create an account: Click on the program you are applying for (either Pre-Degree Arts or Science). Create an account using your email address as your username and choose a password.
  • Log in and update profile: Log in using your email and password. Upload your passport-sized photograph and update your profile.
  • Fill out application details: Select the program of your choice (Pre-Degree Arts or Science).
  • Generate payment invoice and pay: Generate a payment invoice or pay directly. Pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) as the Pre-Degree Application Fee via REMITA on the SLU Admission Portal.
  • Generate acknowledgement slip: After payment, generate your acknowledgement slip. During registration, candidates must present the originals and photocopies of the following documents: acknowledgement slip, evidence of payment (RRR Receipt), WAEC, SSCE/NECO statements of result or their equivalent, two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background, certificate of indigeneship, and birth certificate or sworn declaration of age.

Sule Lamido University IJMB

The IJMB program at SLU is designed to prepare students for ‘A’ Level Examination (IJMBE) in Arts, Sciences, and Social and Management Sciences areas.

If you’re interested in the program, apply for the current academic session. The online application for the IJMB programme commences on 19th of February, and closes at midnight on 5th of May. 

The screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into IJMB Arts and Social Sciences is going to hold on 21st of May, while the IJMB Science Programme applicants screening commences on  22nd of May.

Collect your admission letter if you’re successful in the screening exam from 3rd of June, through 24th of June.

Sule Lamido University IJMB School Fees

The cost for the application form for IJMB programme at Sule Lamido University (SLU) is ₦2,315.00. This includes ₦2,000.00 for the application form and a ₦315.00 transaction fee. 

Please note that this fee is exclusive of REMITA charges, which is applicable when you make the payment via the SLU Admission Portal.

The registration fee provided below:

  • Science-based programs: ₦70,000 – ₦90,000  (Jigawa State indigenes pay 25% of this amount)
  • Arts-based programs: ₦60,000 – ₦80,000 (Jigawa State indigenes pay 25% of this amount)

  • Visit the SLU website: Go to the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa website. Click on the “Admission” section. Select the “IJMB/Pre-Degree” option.
  • Create an account: Click on the program you are applying for (either Pre-Degree Arts or Science). Create an account using your email address as your username and choose a password.

  • Fill out application details: Select the program of your choice (Pre-Degree Arts or Science). Provide your O’Level results and subject combination.
  • Generate payment invoice and pay: Generate a payment invoice or pay directly. Pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) as the Pre-Degree Application Fee via REMITA on the SLU Admission Portal.
  • Generate acknowledgement slip: After payment, generate your acknowledgement slip.
